They shared their favorite food-related memories: from family recipes they had inherited to the culinary experiences that had marked them. It was then that they decided they wanted to offer a space where people could enjoy dishes that would evoke those memories and connect with their own stories.
The name "La Colmena" (The Beehive) was chosen with care, symbolizing teamwork and community. Just as bees work together to create honey, they wanted to create a place where collaboration and creativity would flourish.
Additionally, La Colmena represents the diversity of ingredients and flavors that intertwine to form something beautiful.
